CLB
The Organization
THE CLB is a Christian youth organization founded in Newfoundland in 1892, which is operated under the auspices of the Anglican Church. Membership is open to all Christian affiliations for boys and girls.
The motto of the CLB is "Fight the Good Fight", which is based on St. Paul's Epistle to the Ephesians 6:10-20.
The CLB offers a full program in a paramilitary structure, which includes uniforms, badge work, drill, camping, outings, activities, church involvement, deep friendships, respect, and a "Put the Child First" program which emphasizes child safety.
The Mount Pearl Company
Our CLB Company has four sections and offers programs suitable for the different age groups:
LTC for ages 5 and 6; YTC for 7, 8, and 9; JTC for 10, 11 & 12; and Senior Corps for age 13 and up.
Our CLB Company has dedicated and qualified volunteer leaders, many of whom have been trained in the youth ranks and continued on to become officers.
