| Men's Service Club
Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of the Men's Service Club are to assist the Rector and the
Parish according to need but fellowship among members is the main objective.
Meetings
Meetings are held the first and third
Thursday of every month, with the annual general meeting and
election of officers being held the third Thursday in
January.
Monthly meetings alternate between business and
social, with the social meetings usually involving some kind of
supper (pot luck, etc.) often with spouses and/or invited guests.
Supper is usually followed by a game of cards, a presentation, or
some other fellowship
activity.
Activities
A few of the many activities that the Club organizes and runs on
an annual basis are:
- Lobster Boil (fund raiser)
- Christmas Dinner and Dance
- Cater ACW Breakfast
- Year end bar-b-q
- Pancake Supper and card game (fund raiser)
- Corporate Communion Breakfast
- Moose Supper (fund raiser)
- Church Service and Fish & Brewis Supper with Bishop
