Good morning!  Enjoy the joys and beauty of God's handiwork that this season brings!

*  Just jogging your memory for the flower services:  Kenmount Road Cemetery on Wednesday, July 10, at 7 p.m. with St. Thomas' officiating.  Forest Road Cemetery on Wednesday, July 17, at 7 p.m. with St. Michael's officiating.  They will take place the following evening if the weather is not suitable on the Wednesdays given.
Please keep listening to VOWR and VOCM as the date nears for any changes or cancellations.

*  For those who like to be part of the parish's inside yard sales, or for those who like to browse at the sales, they will continue on all Saturdays until the end of August from 9 to noon in the auditorium.  Table rentals are $20 each and $10 for the second table, or if you come 'to shop,' admission is $1.  To book tables please contact Brian at 682-1844 or Rosalind at 221-8400, or email

*  Many people in our parish depend on our donations to the food bank box to help them with their groceries.  Even though there will be no enews during the summer to name the non-perishables, you have a general idea of the foods that families need.  However, for this week they are hoping for peanut butter, crackers, and cereal. Thank you for all your donations.

*  Captains, please remind your teams:  Sidespersons' Team #  6 , and Counting Team #  3 (note the difference from the Chimes, as a switch was made earlier) .

*  A note for the card lovers out there: once again this summer there will be a card game every Tuesday for the month of July, beginning on July 2, and continuing on July 9, 16, 23 and 30.  All you need for an enjoyable afternoon are $6, your treat basket, your cards, and some friends.  Doors open at 1 p.m. and the game starts at 2 p.m.  Cash prizes as usual!  Come and enjoy!
*  On Sunday, June 30, we have a special treat for you!  During the 11 o'clock service we will enjoy a girls' choir from Oakville, Ontario.  Come and enjoy the talent of this lovely choir!

This will be the last Enews until the fall.  May you have a safe and enjoyable summer.  Thanks to all who tune in each Wednesday for the updates, the notes of thanks, the calls for help, the reminders, etc.

May God Bless you all,

Jean (On behalf of Ascension)
