| Sidespersons
Purpose
The main purpose of the Sidespersons Association is to provide assistance at all worship services.
Duties
The duties include: greeting people at the door and welcoming them to our church family; passing out prayer and hymn books, the weekly Chimes bulletin, and other items as needed; monitoring communicants; tidying up after services.
Other Activities
- During the year some members transport seniors to and from Masonic Park for regular and special worship services.
- Assist with Lenten Devotions
- Assist with the Fall Fair
- Assist with Turkey Tea Take-Outs
- Assist with card games
About Us
We are a group of about 80 male and female parishioners who enjoy this very rewarding ministry within our parish. We are currently arranged in six teams with each team being responsible for the services one Sunday every six weeks (the schedule can be found under the "members" page of this web). If you would like to be part of this ministry, just speak to any sidesperson or one of the clergy.
